When your order says you have to communicate in writing, SIGIL keeps it simple. Say what you need about the children and the case. SIGIL checks it against your order before it goes. Once it's sent, it stays exactly as sent, for both of you.
What it's like to use
Fewer things to worry about
- Your order at the top of every thread. The same words for both of you, so nobody has to guess the rules.
- A check before you send. If something may be outside your order, you see it first, and you decide what to do.
- Tips just for you. Optional suggestions, like leading with the request. Never saved, never shared.
- Sent and first-viewed times. No more arguing about whether a message arrived.
- The same record for both of you. Nobody can change what was said, and nobody has to screenshot anything.
Screening is automated and can be wrong. You remain responsible for what you send.
Your privacy
What stays private
Drafts stay on your device
SIGIL does not store unsent drafts, or messages it held back. If you change your mind before sending, there is nothing to find later.
Screening is just for you
The other parent never sees your screening results. They don't appear on the message, on a receipt, or in any report.
Only fingerprints leave
When a checkpoint is anchored, only fingerprints go out, never your words. Content is shared only as the parties or an order direct.
No ads, no tracking
SIGIL is designed with no advertising and no ad tracking. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

What SIGIL can't do
It helps to know the limits before you rely on anything.
- SIGIL is not a court. It does not decide whether anything violates an order. Only a court does that.
- Screening can be wrong. It can miss things, and it can flag things that are fine. You remain responsible for what you send.
- SIGIL can't make anyone reply. It keeps an honest record of what was sent and when it was first viewed.
- SIGIL doesn't give legal advice. For questions about your order, talk to a lawyer or the court.
- SIGIL is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call 911.
Cost
Cost shouldn't decide who can comply
SIGIL's prices are still a working hypothesis. The plan includes a fee waiver for parents who qualify, so an order that names SIGIL doesn't become a bill someone can't pay.
Launching in Connecticut first
